Tierra Libre, is a living educational community inspired by Waldorf pedagogy, that guides the development of children in a safe, loving, and meaningful environment. Our educational approach is rooted in respect for childhood, learning through doing, emotional support, and experiential integration of knowledge.
We are located in Puerto Aventuras, a seaside town surrounded by nature, where children grow up in safety, joy, and freedom.
We are a nonprofit civil association committed to offering a conscious and enriching education in which families play a fundamental role. We believe education is a collective journey—one where parents, mentors, and the wider community walk together in nurturing free human beings capable of creating a world in harmony with nature and themselves.
To nurture and guide the development of free human beings through a living education where experience, play, art, and science cultivate their capacity to feel, think, and act.

Above all, we are mothers.
During the pandemic, moved by a deep desire to offer our daughters a healthy, vibrant, and meaningful environment, we began organizing a small learning and community space in Puerto Aventuras alongside other families and friends. What started as a loving response to a concrete need gradually transformed into something much greater.
Along the way, we discovered Waldorf education and surrounded ourselves with inspiring teachers, committed advisors, and like-minded families. Together, we have shaped, structured, and deepened what is now Tierra Libre: an educational community that places the care of childhood at its center, honors developmental rhythms, and consciously builds meaningful human relationships.
Over the years, Tierra Libre has become a true life mission. We dreamed of a different kind of education for our daughters and discovered a calling to create a space where doing, feeling, and thinking can grow in balance—and where community is the true foundation of the educational process.
With responsibility and gratitude, we have embraced the commitment to accompany the children of Tierra Libre in their growth: strengthening their confidence in life, nurturing their enthusiasm for learning, and guiding them toward healthy relationships and a strong inner world.
We deeply appreciate the trust of every family and the dedication of the talented and passionate teachers who have joined this project.
We warmly invite all families who resonate with this vision to join this living, conscious, and deeply human adventure that we continue to build day by day.

Tierra Libre`s teachers are the living heart of the community.
More than transmitting knowledge, they accompany life processes. They are well-trained individuals engaged in ongoing study and reflection, with a deep understanding of the stages of childhood development, and they joyfully and responsibly embrace the commitment to guide each child on their path.
Their vocation is rooted in a genuine love for childhood and is expressed through patience, conscious presence, and daily dedication. They provide both firmness and warmth, inspire through their example, and create an environment where every child feels seen, supported, and capable. Because we understand that education is an art, our teachers cultivate within themselves what they wish to awaken in the children: integrity, sensitivity, enthusiasm for learning, and a profound respect for the human being in formation.
